About us

Yes. Kalin Group is led by a Florida Certified General Contractor and carries general liability insurance. As an owner-operated company with no employees, we are exempt from Florida workers’ compensation, and every subcontractor on our jobs must carry their own workers’ compensation coverage or a state exemption. Certificates are available on request.

The company is new, but our founder has 21 years of experience. He built, managed and directed construction projects for national homebuilders in Central Florida, specializing in land entitlements, planning, permitting and infrastructure, and most recently worked on luxury private residences across South Florida, from Broward County to Monroe County. You work directly with him on every job.

We’re based in Broward County and work across South Florida: Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Parkland, Davie, Southwest Ranches, Plantation and Coral Springs in Broward; Boca Raton, Delray Beach and the rest of Palm Beach County; Miami-Dade; and Monroe County down through the Florida Keys. See our service areas for what building in each county involves.
