Hurricane code
Broward County is in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, the strictest part of the Florida Building Code. Roofs, windows, doors and structure all have to be approved for it, and we plan for that from the first estimate.

Flood and elevation
Many waterfront and coastal lots sit in FEMA flood zones, where the lowest floor must be built at or above the base flood elevation, often with extra height required. We confirm the requirements for your lot before design is finished, so there are no surprises at permit.

Permits and inspections
Permitting in Broward depends on the city: some run their own building department, others use Broward County, and each has its own reviews and timelines. We handle the submittals, the comments and every inspection.
