Construction management in Fort Lauderdale
Someone on
your side of the table.
Not every owner needs a general contractor. Some need an experienced builder to plan the job, check the numbers and manage the trades on their behalf. Kalin Group provides construction management, owner’s representation and pre-construction for homes and commercial projects across Fort Lauderdale, Broward and Palm Beach. Josh has managed development budgets over $50 million and about 3,700 lots of roads, utilities and infrastructure, and holds Florida Certified General Contractor license CGC1541664.

Construction management questions
A general contractor holds the trade contracts and delivers the finished project for a price. A construction manager works for you, usually for a fee: you hold the contracts, and we manage the trades, schedule and budget on your behalf. We offer both, and can tell you which fits your project.
Yes. We review where the job stands, the contracts and the money spent, then give you a written plan to finish it.
Usually as a fixed fee or a percentage of construction cost, agreed in writing before we start. See the FAQ for more on pricing.
